My Co-worker Is Trying To Sabotage Me!! Should I Go To Hr With This Problem?

I need to know if I go to HR!!
I have been working at my company for close to two years. I have mastered everything that has come my way and have a pretty good reputation with the higher ups’. I have also been told I have promotion waiting for me at the end of summer after I graduate. Here is the drama…. A new girl started about 2-3 months ago and she shares my office after I leave for the day. First, she was really messy, then started to throw my notes away, go through my drawers and remove my things and put her stuff in it’s place. (this is my office and my boss allows her to be there only when I am gone) She even has gone into my personal voicemail and erased messages from my saved box that were for me only. These messages were needed the next day for me to return important calls. All gone. I went to my Director and explained what has happened so far. So I took it upon myself to be the mature person and approach the girl and let her know we are here to work together as a team, so lets just start with a clean slate. She agreed. Well, here is the issue that is so messed up!! A different co-worker came up to me today and informed me that when she walked in on this girl the other day, this girl had pulled up my old arrest record from over 12 years ago. She was looking at my picture (plus she was in her managers office doing this) and sharing it with the co-worker that told me about this. It was my arrest record, and I have never been convicted. I was arrested for something stupid but never charged. My company did a background check on me when I first began. I also brought the record to my Director and H.R. in the first week I began so I would not hide anything or have it bite me in the butt later. I can not tell you how pissed off I am. What else is this girl going to do to me? This girl also has been caught by me trying to lie on her timesheet and try to increase her pay by 3 hours. There is something very wrong about this girl. If she is so negative and hateful towards me for no reason, well, this makes me so uncomfortable.. Is this a valid reason to go back to my Director and HR??? (I don’t want to look like a narc, but this is pretty personal.) Please I need urgent advice. Please help, what would you do and who should I talk to?? I want to be as professional as I can be. Thank you all for your time!
One other thing, the arrest record is public record in the state of Florida. So is this still a violation of some kind because this happened in the work place??

How Much Does A Human Resources Manager Earn Per Hour?

It would depend on the size of the company
the years of experience
the geogrphical area you are located in
I am in hr, I know managers that make 35,000 and some making up to 100,000
Those in union companies tend to make more but larger size companies also may more
Good career to be in, lots of jobs

Should I Call An Employer 2 Weeks After A Job Interview?

I had a job interview in April that went quite well, and I was called back for a 2nd interview with two of the managers. That 2nd interview wasn’t perfect, but went all right. That was 2 weeks ago, and at the time they said they’d finished interviewing all candidates and they’d probably decide within a few days. I didn’t hear anything after 1 week, so I called the HR director, and she apologized that things were moving slowly, but said no decision had been made yet. She also said the position had NOT been filled and she had NOT been asked to seek out any more candidates, which I took as a good sign. I thanked her and said I’d wait to hear back. I then sent a polite letter to the 2 managers to let them know I was still very interested in the position.
That was one week ago, and I still haven’t heard anything. Should I wait, or check in again?
P.S. They told me that only a small handful of people would make it to the 2nd interview, that’s why I figured they could decide quickly.

Does A Job Title Automatically Entitle You To A Higher Salary?

I interviewed for a job as a Human Resources Assistant that was posted on Monster. At the first and second interviews the job duties were explained to me thoroughly and the job seemed like a great opportunity. Since there are only two people in HR at this company, myself and the HR VP, I was told that I would also be getting limited assistance from the mailroom clerk and the receptionist.
I got hired and on the first day of work the HR VP told me that my job title had been changed to HR Manager and that they would be able to give me 2K more a year in 6 months.
I realize that the Manager title carries more weight but does that mean that I automatically deserve a higher income? I was willing to do the job under the title of “Assistant”.

How To Ask A Managing Director?

After a speech, the managing director gave me a business card after i said i want to serve as an internship for his company which is a big company. Then i sent an email for the application and heard from him with the
words “I will talk to HR to see if any plan or chance for this with geographical location concerns.”. But one week has past, there is no words. So i want to know if i should connect with him
again and how. I really want to get that opportunity!
So thank you everybody, give me some advices please!

After I Interviewed To Be Rehired, The Vp Told The Receptionist To Put My Application To The Side. Good Sign ?

I called my ex manager to see if i was rehirable and she told me “yes” and to come into the open house on Tues. I came in and interviewed with HR and my manager. (I left the job in October 2007) When I was about to leave, the receptionist asked if I got it. I told her that I didn’t know but I hope so. She told me that the companies Vice President (who was also conducting some interviews) told her to put my application to the side. Is that a good thing? I was thinking either he is taking me out of the pile because he plans or rehiring me or he is taking me out of the pile because he has no plans on rehiring me. What do you guys think?
