How To Prepare For A 5 Hours Long Interview?

I have an interview line up next week that will be for 5 hours long with 5 different people. I never have an interview that long before so I’m a little nervous as to what to expect and how to prepare for it. I already have an interview with the HR recruiter already, this next one will be with the department director, manager, 2 senior, then with the HR recruiter again. What type of questions do you think each of them will be asking according to their position? Will they be the same or different? Then what type of questions should you ask each person according to their position? I’m just nervous as in how many questions can they possibly ask and how many questions can you possibly ask them and etc…

My Boss Is Trying To Get Me Fired!!! Help!!!?

I currently work in a department where there are only 2 people: me and my boss. We are so understaffed that the company is supposed to add 5 new positions. Regardless of this fact, my boss gives me work as if i am at least 4 of those missing positions and she does nothing (I also get some of her personal stuff to do as well). I have asked for help and she says i do not know how to time manage or prioritize even though her deadlines are insane. I recently asked for an extension on a financial analysis that she gave me one day to complete and she told me no. Now she is starting a papertrail to make me look incompetent. She has do this to 4 past employees in her department and she succeeded in getting them fired as well. I don’t know if i should go to HR because the VP of HR is one of her friends! What do i do???

Do Companies Do Background Checks After The 1st Interview Or The 2nd Interview (accounting Position)?

Do companies do background checks after the 1st interview or the 2nd interview?
I filled out all the applications and surveys and interviewed with the controller and the hr director. Then they called me back for a second interview and this time I’ll be interviewing with the controller, hr director and the president of the company.
Do you think the background check was performed after the 1st interview or are they going to wait until after the second interview with the president?
Thank you so much!!

How Do I Deal With A Difficult Manager And Director?

I’m under a lot of stress at work because my manager keeps confronting me about a director I went to HR about almost a year ago – she was a very difficult person to work for and was very unethical at times – because I brought it to HR’s attention, she lost some of her power – my current manager was able to benefit from me doing this by becoming our new manager – but the thing is that I still have to work for this director indirectly and find that my manager takes her side when making desicions – my life is a living hell for the last year at work because it feels like I don’t have anyone on my side and I don’t know what to do – what would do???

Is This Discrimination?

I am my department’s top performer, guaranteed. I consistently work circles around my coworkers, provide support, and do everything else pretty much. They have rewarded others for their performance through a bi-monthly program, but some of these who were “rewarded” for their performance were also fired a few weeks later because of it.
Some coworkers of mine got a hold of my blog and tried to get me fired for it. My managers have taken me to HR where I was told that my work was solid, but my lifestyle was not. I was ordered to “keep it down”, although I really didn’t amp it up to begin with. Our VP of HR talked to me personally. She gave me a list of demands and I have followed every single one of them.
On the floor, I have been “gay bashed”, coworkers have thrown paperwork at me, slammed doors in my face, and so on. I have complained to my managers, but this behavior continues which leads me to believe that no one has been talked to. I have been called “weak” and told “I don’t know nothing” by these coworkers.
It’s not everyone, it’s a few people.
Is this discrimination? If so, what are my next steps as far as documentation? Am I out of line? I need a non-biased third party opinion here.
