Anyone Know Anything About Getting A Phr Or Sphr Certification In Human Resources?

Do you know if you have to have a degree in human resources? Or can you get these certifications without a degree in HR? I work in Human Resources but my bachelor’s degree is in psychology. Am I eligible to get a PHR or SPHR certification in human resources then?

    HR work = mental suicide
From what I’ve seen of HR people no education at all is required.

You have to just out of school or working in a salaried HR position for 2 years, but it does not matter what your degree is in. Even if you are just out of school, you can take the test but you are not certified until you complete 2 years of salaried HR work.

The human resources field (as far as the federal government is concerned) does not have an education requirement. Even though you can qualify using your education, it really is based on your experience.I hope this helps.
