Look at the unemployment rate rising in an economy that's sinking. Your situation sucks, but you have a job. An at will job at that.
I'm guessing this company does not offer direct deposit?

No. THis is usually a sign that the business is operating on borrowed funds. It could close at any time.
Or the owner is so poor at bookkeeping that she risks losing all her workers over non-payment of wages.
Either one are a sign of trouble for you..

i have never heard of a company mailing out paychecks three days ahead so you get them on the day they are due?
who is to say how long the post office will take to deliver them?
its the holiday season mail is slower its a fact of life
you will just have to live with it
does the company offer direct deposit?
so you havent gotten the 25th of Novembers check yet?
i am showing six business days but of course the post office delivers on saturday so you should have gotten it by now so you did the best thing to get it reissued for the 10th of this month
but no matter what some poeple will say
its highly unusual for the post office to lose mail all together

Sadly, there is probably nothing you can do about this. If the mail is late, that is not their fault. I do think they are rude to be so callous about it, but they are not really doing anything wrong.
So, instead of thinking of your pay dates as the 10th and the 25th, I'd pretend they are the 15th and the 30th and I'd organize my bills to accommodate that.
Have you considered direct deposit? That would take care of everything...
To get you through till the next pay period, sounds like you're going to need a loan from friends, family or a check loan place.
Good luck... I feel for you.
