Can I Write A Letter To Ask If A Decision Has Been Made On Hiring?

I made the mistake of not asking when a decision was going to be made during an interview. Can I write a letter to find out if it has been made? What do I say? (I interviewed with the Head of HR & went back to meet with VP I would work with) who do I ask?

Yes, it’s called an inquiry letter. I suggest looking up formats for this on the web. Use that format and put in your own personal info and questions.
Here’s a website for inquiry letters: http://www.writeexpress.com/inquiry.htm
Like some have said, you could always call them; but, you asked about a “letter.”
i would call the HR or the VP i would’nt write ,,,,and ask them if they had made a decision on your interview
call them. I have done that before, ask about the status of the open position.
how long ago was it?
usually when you go back a second time its a pretty good sign.
Yes – ask the Head of HR.
Sure, but probably easier just to call HR.
