When I Use Batch To Move Files From A Linux Computer To An Win2000 One, Why Is There An 11 Hr Difference?

My co-worker and I transfer three files from our Linux computer to our Windows 2000 SP4 computer about once an hour.
One file we pull over to the 2000 computer using a program. We then run a batch file that renames that file by looking for *.pdf–there’s only one PDF in the folder, so this works well. Then this first batch file calls a second batch file.
The second batch file copies the remaining two files from the Linux computer to the Windows computer. Then, it renames both of these files.
The first file (pulled over with software) has the correct date.
PROBLEM: The two files pulled via batch and renamed show a “Modified” date (in the folder) that is 11 hours behind the actual time. It is always 11 hours difference.
We create the original files (on the Linux computer) just before transfer. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I have developed a software that will handle most of any companies internal operations. It has a training conductor, a website creator, newsletter, policy manager, calendar and company directory. It is easliy managed by a non it person and will bring organization to an unorganized company thereby improving the overall bottom line by creating better work results and retaining employees. It also provided doccumentation that is somtimes necessary in HR lawsuits.
I can’t think of a cool name.
It needs to be someting that is registerable as a domain name and something that is a quick word.. that everyone can say..
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi, i’m in big confusion now. I was a software supporter in a well establish company and suddenly i got the offer from another company to become an HR officer. As a person who likes to try out new things, I went into it. But now I’m in dilemma. Not sure whether I want to continue in this line itself or switch back to IT related job. Before I decide, I would like to know the advantages and disadvantages of both jobs. Hope you guys can help me.

Are We Getting Too Much Money On Our Tax Return?

Me and my wife had our son last year in march, so this was the first year she was able to claim him in her taxes. We just got married this year so cantt file together.
Anyways, she does her own taxes with the HR block tax software. After she was done it said she was getting $6,000 returned this year. $4,000 for our son alone. This is her first time filing with him and she thought this may be high and she may have done something wrong. Does this sound correct?
