The Human Resources director in my office really irritated me, and now I’m in a bad mood, and I don’t like bad moods.
Tell a joke that will cheer me up!
Not personally, but as in the job seeking business? I’m a Human Resources Director and of course,I’m in charge of all the hiring. Last week,I held interviews for several Data Entry postions. It’s not a glamourous job but it’s real easy. All you have to do is take your stack of paperwork and enter it into a computer. Here are some stories of the people who I interviewed:
Keep in mind that the state I live in,the minimum wage is $6.55/hr
I had one young lady come in,18 years old, just out of high school, and wanted $12/hr
I had a young man,23 years old,was in the military for 4 years and wanted $32,000/year
Another young man,has an associates in criminal justice, wanted $40,000 a year, which is a little less than what I make(been with the company 7 years and have a Bachelors in Human Resource)
You should have seen their faces when I told them that the most we could pay was $7/hr to someone with experience
In the UK – or anyone else for that matter?
I dont want HR discussing it with anyone else. How can i enforce this?
HR have discussed private stuff b4 – and that was the HR Director
Does anyone know the name of the human resource director for Goldman Sachs.
So here is my situation. I just took an exam for a position that I’m very excited about and pays well. There were about 100 applicants and those with the top exam grades get granted an interview.
I just got called from another position that I also want to get involved in but pays WAY less. The human resources director left me a message to call back to further schedule an interview.
Should I call her to schedule the interview immediately, or should I wait to see if I get granted an interview for this other position that I also really want and pays very very well? Is it rude to work for a job only until I hear word from another?
Help! =(
I know that I should file a formal complaint but I am unsure who to do so to. It was the HR director and the president of the company who did the sexual harassment……..
One day while walking down the street a highly successful Human Resources Director was hit by a bus. Her soul was met at the Pearly Gates by St Peter himself. ‘Welcome to Heaven’ he said. ‘But I’m afraid we have a bit of a problem. You see, we’ve never had a Human Resources Director make it this far and we’re not really sure what to do with you. What we suggest is we let you have a day in Hell and a day in Heaven and then you choose whichever one you want to spend eternity in.’
With that, St Peter put the executive in a lift and it went down to hell. The doors opened and she found herself stepping out onto the putting green of a beautiful golf course. In the distance was a clubhouse and standing in front of her were all her friends – fellow executives she’d worked with, and they were all cheering for her. They played an excellent round of golf and at night went to the club where she had an excellent lobster dinner. She met the Devil who was actually a really nice guy (kinda cute) and she had a great time telling jokes and dancing. Everybody waved good-bye as she got back into the lift. The doors opened at the Pearly Gates and she found St Peter waiting.
She spent the next day in heaven, lounging around on clouds, playing the harp and singing. She had a great time and before she knew it her 24 hours were up and St Peter came and got her. ‘So, you’ve spent a day in hell and you’ve spent a day in heaven. Now choose your eternity,’ he said. The woman replied: ‘Well, I never thought I’d say this, I mean, Heaven has been really great and all, but I think I had a better time in Hell.’
So St Peter escorted her to the lift and again she went down back to Hell. However, when the doors opened she found herself standing in a desolate wasteland covered in rubbish and filth. She saw her friends were dressed in rags and were picking up the rubbish and putting it in sacks. The Devil came up to her and put his arm around her. ‘I don’t understand’ stammered the woman, ‘yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and we danced and had a great time. Now all there is a wasteland and all my friends look miserable.’
The Devil looked at her and smiled. ‘Yesterday we were interviewing. Today you’re staff…’
