I applied at local bank and the next day I had a phone interview with HR, after that I had reg. interview with HR. I did a 2nd interview with the branch Manager, which went well, next week I have an interview with the VP. What is the purpose of the 3rd interview? Does it mean I’m going to get the job?

I made the mistake of not asking when a decision was going to be made during an interview. Can I write a letter to find out if it has been made? What do I say? (I interviewed with the Head of HR & went back to meet with VP I would work with) who do I ask?

If the company and job has specific bona fide occupational qualifications and requirements, and I have proof of something of the boss (who no one likes) that goes against those BFOQs, should I let someone know? This person is basically living a big lie and causing a lot of grief at the company. Should I bring it up? How? To whom? HR or a VP? Thank you.

I’m a manager, and an employee (who does not work for me or in the same department) has filed a complaint against me for a personal conflict between myself & his wife. He is bringing emails that I have sent her from home, which say some awful things- but no worse than what she has said, to show our HR Rep and I’m afraid that I may be demoted or worse, fired. My boss let me know what was going on (she is on my side, but since HR is now involved, does not have any authority in this situation). She thinks they may cite “conduct unbecoming of a manager”. My first question is: can this even go any further since this was a personal issue w/the spouse of an employee, and none of this took place at work? And if so, how can I save my job and my title as a manager? I’d be willing to publicly apologize if I had to, but I don’t know if the VP of HR will sympathize. Any advice is appreciated!

Public US company is changing manager from Fidelity to T. Rowe Price. My Sector funds in Fidelity are named “T Rowe Price” but are not in the new 401k offered when the whole thing becomes managed by T Rowe Price. The company team claims that they have the “fiduciary” responsibility to “protect” their employees against those who ‘don’t have the financial astuteness” to make the right decisions within their funds. The new funds only have history of 5-9% return rates, but the sector funds have netted me year over year return of 26% as I watch it and understand what I’m doing. Other well-informed employees who understand finance are also upset. We want the company match, but need to do the 401k with TRP in order to get it. What can we do after the VP of HR has said ‘NO’? Do we file Class action suit? Report to some other finance authority? “Harp” on the sales reps that come to visit us? Other suggestions?

My wife and I are soon moving to Nashville and I was wondering if it was appropriate to call hiring managers about your skills and skill sets directly and leave them messages? I know this is what head hunters do for candidates, as I use to work for a temporary agency that placed permanent hires.
Would it be better to call during the week or on the weekends? I am currently working, so calling during the week may be a bit challenging. I kind of got my current position this way, though I knew people in town so it was easier to do. I actually called HR and left them a message. I was called back immediately and the VP Controller “thanked” the HR lady for bringing me to him. However, I am applying online right now and am not having much luck, other than one company flying me in to interview only to send me a “form” rejection e-mail.
Please advise.

Biden maintain his position as a senior leader with facts and Palin with her natural charm to display her personal attraction of her new position as VP to come, with care & concern of the American people with wink of eye to the TV camera to catch the extra attention of her. It was a peaceful, friendly game for the satisfaction of the American.

It is the year 2008. In your company, central planning has given way to front line decision making and bureauerary has given way to teamwork. shop floor workers use computers and robots.
There is a current labor shortage for many job openings, and the few individuals that do apply lack the necessary skills to work in teams, make decisions or use sophisticated technology.
What should you have done as the VP of HR Management to prepare for this problem?
What should you do to adress the problem today?
For the year 2015?

I’m an HR Mgr & a coworker was asked to forge my signature on 100 I-9 forms while I was away, he said that he was instructed by the VP, what are the consequences? I totally disagree with it. First of all, they forged my signature on a government document. Can I sue the company for this?

My boss is the VP of HR and she INSISTS that sites like Salary.com aren’t really accurate to what is really being paid. But as a NON-HR person, how can I find accurate info about salaries? She makes it seem like HR people have some secret knowledge that the rest of us can’t access.
It’s frustrating in negotiations to have every public source of salaries, like job listings, Salary.com etc. be shot down as not specific enough to give accurate results. Any sources someone can direct me to would be appreciated. Thanks… May the Force… well you know the rest.
