My boss is the VP of HR and she INSISTS that sites like Salary.com aren’t really accurate to what is really being paid. But as a NON-HR person, how can I find accurate info about salaries? She makes it seem like HR people have some secret knowledge that the rest of us can’t access.
It’s frustrating in negotiations to have every public source of salaries, like job listings, Salary.com etc. be shot down as not specific enough to give accurate results. Any sources someone can direct me to would be appreciated. Thanks… May the Force… well you know the rest.
We need young fresh blood in the White House that belongs to no current political party. MAYBE, I’ll run for President and have any female on Yahoo Answers as the VP. I’d soon clean up this country, people will think I’m Mr. Clean. All soldiers return home, street gangs outlawed, dope pushers all shot on sight, no one lives beyond 60 years, all homeless kids adopted, abortion outlawed, all interior government personnel fired and replaced, UFOs & ET’s, Roswell, Area 51 secrets, evidence made public, illegal aliens given 30 days to go home, do away with welfare, married men allowed a mistress, abolish alimony and child support, all women return to being a housewife/homemaker, every worker gets $20.00 an hr. food prices drop drastically, only 4 & 6 cyclinder cars allowed on the road, all weapons outlawed. Many, many, more issues
I have a Big interview coming up Thursday…Meeting with 3 executives, including VP of HR, that this position will be supporting. Any tips?????
I have a second interview tomorrow with the VP of the HR department that i applied for.
What type of questions should I ask him? Ive already met with the HR director (if i get hired i will be working directly with her) and I asked her a couple questions such as describe a typical day at work and asked for some more info on the company.
I just dont know what else i could ask. Maybe something about competitors?
any suggestions are well appreciated. Thank you!
I worked 7 weeks and was fired, I told my current employer I was in europe after graduation. They are doing a credit check on me. How long will it take for the unemployment to show up on my cedit check? I filed 3 weeks ago, and just recieved my first check. If I dont start working for 2 weeks should I cancel my unemployment to prevent it showing up? The accounting dept is seperate from the HR and VP that hired me.
I graduated college, worked for 7 weeks and was fired. I told the company that is hiring me now I was in Europe the whole time. I have recieved one unemployment check. Will this show up and cause them to ask any questions? Its a decent sized company, the finance dept is seperate from the HR and VP that hired me. Should I cancel my unemployment to prevent this even if I dont start working for 2 weeks?
