Communications Degree For Human Resources?
Hello. I am now finishing up my Community College classes (3.2 gpa so far) and will be transferring to San Diego State University to finish my bachelors degree in Communications. Comm has always come naturally to me, something that I naturally excel at. So I’ve been looking into what jobs interest me, and off the bat public relations and human resources stuck out for me. I’m heavily leaning towards Human Resources and I wanted to know if my major, communications, is a good one for that. Also notice that I’m leaning, I could choose to move to PR or something else in the future, which is another reason I like comm, its fairly broad and applicable to many fields. However I’m about 80% sure HRs for me. So how is a communication degree for HR? What if, big IF, I decide to pursue a masters in communications? Any/all help/advice/tips is appreciated.
