		<description>it depends on your position, location, and background.  if you want to be a generalist, then you will need a bachelor&#039;s degree.  many schools have a degree in hr, but it might also be listed under business.  a generalist makes anywhere from 30K - 75K depending on location, industry, background, etc.  
Recruiting is also a hot field.  they usually want someone with experience.  those positions can be anywhere from 20K to 80K annually.
You can also specialize in benefits and/or compensation.  those positions are usually higher paid than the generalist position, but there are not as many openings.</description>
