After a speech, the managing director gave me a business card after i said i want to serve as an internship for his company which is a big company. Then i sent an email for the application and heard from him with the
words “I will talk to HR to see if any plan or chance for this with geographical location concerns.”. But one week has past, there is no words. So i want to know if i should connect with him
again and how. I really want to get that opportunity!
So thank you everybody, give me some advices please!

Write him again, and say:
Please forgive my intrusion into your exceedingly busy schedule, I am following up on our previous conversation regarding an internship opportunity with your company.
I would relish the chance to speak directly with the HR department to see if there is a possible match for me. I know that I could prove a valuable asset to your company, but by the same token, I do not want to occupy any more of your limited time.
Please provide me with the appropriate contact information at your convenience.
I thank you in advance for your trouble, and I reiterate my gratitude for your time and attention in this matter.
I would call him up and talk to him to see if there were really any opporunities. Or if there was someone else that you need to talk to.
