My company ends up doing stuff like that. A lot of times you can probably expect some similar questions, but like any interview, be prepared for ANYTHING.
They may also have you speak to so many people to make sure you are a good fit for the department.

It could be a filmstrip interview and they give u papers to fill out and then they make your ID card and do a FBI check on u.
I had an interview this long when i worked at E-Toys.
It does get boring and they will give u breaks to take, just relax and u will be okay.

Have never heard of anything like that. 5 hours from directors and managers? Don’t that seem a little odd to you that supervisor’s would even begin to have that much time to question potential employees?

Google “Behavioral Interviewing”. Most companies use this method today. Know what it is so you can adequately prepare. And be as specific as possible when answering their questions. Think of the STAR method of responding. Situation, Task, Action took, Result.

Wow, that is a long interview. Drink lots of water…
Several of the questions will probably be repeated, when you are answering them for the fourth time, don’t get irritated and answer with the same enthusiasm you did the first time. Probably the director will focus more on general questions about you and you can ask more general questions about the company / department. With the seniors, expect to talk more about the day to day duties of the job. Some of these people may have different priorities, eg the seniors may be more concerned about the technical skills you have, but the director will wonder how promotable you are and how you will develop in five years. Their questions should make their priorities clear and you can respond accordingly.
Since you already talked with the HR recruiter, the part with him probably will not be an interview, more of a review of benefits, company procedures, that type of thing.

I sympathize with you. I did the same thing but with seven different people from all different departments that ultimately worked together. It was long and exhausting. It took ALL day (8-5p), I came home and passed out. I was mentally exhausted.
Well, there seems to be 5 different people so they will probably all take about an hour each, unless it’s a “panel” interview where they all ask questions and your a dart board. In that situation, there shouldn’t be much repetition. Mostly they will ask questions about your experience with different tasks. How well you know certain applications/software. And probably ask you to expand on your answers. They may ask you how you respond to negative energy or how you handle yourself under pressure. Try to be as positive as possible. Try to have some questions lined up for each them. One of them being “What would be your ideal candidate?” That way you can find out exactly what they’re looking for. Ask about their current staff. Are they a team or mostly individuals? Try to ask as many questions about the job as possible. Good Luck!
