you don&#039;t need any kind of certification to work in the field of Human Resources. Increasingly, however, Human Resources professionals are seeking certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). There are additional certifications available through professional associations in such areas as Compensation and Benefits management.
 For example, member-candidates for Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)certification sponsored by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI), an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), will spend about $905 for recommended study materials and test fees. Non-SHRM members pay more.
Candidates for the ten-part Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certification program sponsored by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) will spend in the neighborhood of $4,100 for recommended study materials and test fees. http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/work…http://mc-shrm.org/pg_membership.cfmhttp://www.shrmatlanta.org/displaycommon…http://www.hrsymposium.com/resource_org.…http://www.lir.msu.edu/hretc/documents/H…http://www.hrconsults.com/news.htm
The eligibility includes:
    -- PHR eligibility requirements - four years of demonstrated exempt-level
        HR experience with less than a Bachelor&#039;s degree; two years of
        demonstrated exempt-level HR experience with a Bachelor&#039;s degree;
        or one year of demonstrated exempt-level HR experience with a
        Master&#039;s degree or higher.
    -- SPHR eligibility requirements - seven years of demonstrated
exempt-level
        HR experience with less than a Bachelor&#039;s degree; five years of
        demonstrated exempt-level HR experience with a Bachelor&#039;s degree;
        or four years of demonstrated exempt-level HR experience with a
        Master&#039;s degree or higher.
    -- GPHR eligibility requirements - four years of demonstrated
exempt-level
        HR experience (with two of the four being global HR experience) with
        less than a Bachelor&#039;s degree; three years of demonstrated
        exempt-level HR experience (with 2 of the 3 being global HR
experience)
        with a Bachelor&#039;s degree; or two years of demonstrated global
        exempt-level HR experience with a Master&#039;s degree or higher.http://www.reuters.com/article/pressRele…
this is a big question, it&#039;s six different questions, so 6-8 diff.certs.top page, sponsored by is in the middle chunk, and eligibility is above, i put the websites were i found this stuff, i would suggest going to them, and reading incase you need clarification, this is not laid out too well, but this is difficult for me because i&#039;m working blind and i am in the clinical aspects of the field, which if i was smarter probably would have went for admin. because there is room for advancement that doesnt involve school, the only way for me to advance is nursing, anyway maybe you&#039;ll get back to healthcare soon!!LOL..., so again i really hope this helps some...basically what i did is put each individual question into a search..that is the only way to do it, to me..</description>
