If Signed Papers As A Director &my Boss Is Saying It Was A Mistake &its Suppose To Be Associate,wht Can I Do?

i dont want to sign, is this legal? HR’s “mistake.” The only reason im annoyed is also bc i should be a director (based on qualification, experience, etc). can i take legal action for them demoting me for no reason? should i resign?

Sorry, but it’s legal. They can demote you for any reason they like, including no reason, which they call “downsizing.” If your contract has a time clause, they can’t reduce your pay rate until it comes up for renew.
Yeah, I’d starting looking for another job and tell that guy where he can stick it.
