Job Opportunities For Someone With Master’s Degree In Human Resources And 8 Years Recruiting?

My girlfriend has a bachelors in business admin and is just graduating with a master’s in human resources. She has 8 years of recruiting and employee relations experience and wants a HR role in a larger co. Wondering if we should move to a larger city, or what kinds of opportunities there might be for her. And what kind of pay can she expect?

The pay will vary depending on the size of the company, her responsibilities, how many people work in the H.R. department. She needs to get associated with a local H.R. group (SHRM or something like that) to see what the wages and salary levels are for where you live. Moving to a larger city may or may not help her.
Remember with every step up the career ladder means more demands on her time, more responsibilities and accountability. Some times in working for a larger company with multiple locations travel may be required and that can affect a family. Working for a mid-size company (500 employees or so) with one location is not such a bad thing to consider.
