They already know you're very interested in the position. It's possible that you we're not chosen, OR something could have happened that is preventing them from making the desicion as quickly as they had hoped. I wouldn't push it any further. Just in case. You know they say "do not invest into a relationship more than what you can afford to loose". I would not put all my hopes for just one job. I know that you are interested, but no matter how much you want it to happen it is out of your control now. Also, it's no good to be too pushy, so I'd say pull yourself together and keep looking.
