NEVER answer anything like this, it is absolutely a hoax. Many of these phony invitations originate from Nigeria, but they could come from anywhere.
If you don’t know the sender, and he requests any sort of monetary investment, or even just requests details of your bank account and other personal details, DELETE it immediately. He is looking for a gullible person to send him money, or someone from whom he can rob the identity, thus potentially destroying his future life. It’s best to not even open such e-mails; they may infect your computer with viruses or spyware.
A good tip: if you don’t recognise the sender and the title of the message contains expressions like “You’re in luck!” or “You just hit the jackpot!” or “You’ve just won 2 million dollars!” or “I am contacting you about a very delicate matter” or “I was referred to you as being an honest/ reliable/ dependable/ honourable/ good person”, or some such similar cr*p, DELETE it straight away.
Another tip: these tricksters NEVER, EVER manage to spell their English correctly. Any institution such as a London hospital will issue a message in immaculately-written English, believe me. The tricksters manage to make numerous spelling and grammatical errors, and MANY punctuation errors, such as capitalising words that should not be capitalised. This is one of the beauties of the intricacies of the English language: a native English speaker can spot a mile off someone whose mother tongue is not English, just by reading a couple of sentences. And the tricksters are inevitably from a third-world country: it’s too difficult to get away with this type of fraud in Western countries with the strict laws they have.
