I currently am employed in an HR position at 20 years old and want to continue my career in the field. I am currently at a community college part time and DO NOT WANT TO MAJOR IN BUSINESS! I have tried before and do not want to take the 20+ classes in general business and have only a few classes in HR. I do, however, plan to minor in HR Management. So my question is which of the following majors would be beneficial for an HR career:
Communications
Economics
Sociology
Psychology
or any others that you can think of?
Thank you in advance.
I’ve only use Nero ever since the beginning. Recently bought a TSST Corp. CDDVDW SH-S222A burner to make DVD movies. But it took about 4 hrs. to burn a single 2 hr movie.
Can any you guys out there suggest something that can do the same but faster?
Also, can someone instruct me how to burn several movies into one single DVD disc?
I am a recent Master’s grad in Psychology, and am currently enrolled in a MBA program with a concentration in HR Management. I have a year of HR Generalist experience under my belt, but am having a hard time getting my foot in the door. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of where to look, who to contact, or anything in general that may help me in my search! Thanks!!
I got my MBA a year ago and now working as HR process analyst in Silicon Valley. I want to develop my career as a human resource professional. Greatly appreciate if someone can help me answers the following questions:
1. What is the best HCM software I should learn. SAP HR, peoplesoft, SAS?
2. Should I obtain a PHR certification.
3. What is the trend in HR? What skills are in demand now for HR professional to develop?
Last year I had the worst experience with a local tax office and want to file online this year. I’ve done some research and narrowed it down to Turbo Tax, HR Block and TaxAct. They all offer free e file. I’d like to know which is the easiest to use. Thanks!!!
Ever had a newbie do your taxes at a place like HR Block or Jackson Hewitt?
Yeah, two hours was a bit long to sit in that uncomfortable chair last year, so I’m going solo this year.
I have a JD but never really practiced. I was looking at a certificate program in Human Resources online offered through Cornell University. It is only 6 months.
What certificates do I need? How do I begin? What about recruiters?
I do my own taxes on line with software. I am wondering if I can do better by changing to another brand.
