Hr Block Online Tax Return Error?

I am doing my 2009 taxes using HR Block’s online software. It is allowing me to claim as a dependent a 20 year old son who lived with me for the entire year but was not a full time student. I think this is an error. If it is, how could their software be that screwed up?

Hr Block Homework Problem Help!?

Im working on a homework problem using hr block software and cant figure out what to do with the following two entries.
1. auto loan interest 4800
2. Sold land to corp for 75000 paid 160000 5 yrs ago.
The main problem here is that I have the check figures for the problem and without these two entries the check figures are correct! I would appreciate some help! Thanks

Hr Block People And Turbotaxcut, Which Is Better?

Last year my husband and I filed the tax return with HR Block people. It cost around $250 for the service. It was a basic return from our jobs. We rent our place and have no children. This year due to having less money we were considering purchasing the TurboTax software and doing it ourselves. Have others done this instead of using people and had better success? Also why is HR Block so expensive? Thanks!

Hr Block Software…. Estimated Tax Payments Help!!!?

Should I Use Turbotax Or Hr Block Software? (need Sched. C)?

I can’t decide which one will find more business deductions for me. While HR Block is significantly cheaper, TurboTax says it will find more deductions. However, I never have enough to take PERSONAL deductions, so I’m not quite sure it will matter (I don’t own a home, I have no kids, and even my $200 of donated stuff isn’t enough to make it more worthwhile to take personal deductions instead of their set deduction).
I’m just wondering which one will find more business deductions for me… I am self employed not sure its worth the money to get either program.
I need to know what I should do!
