I am a 25 year old construction worker pursuing a degree in human resources , but I am worried about finding a job because I hav little experience.what should I do and where should I start? I got my MBA a year ago and now working as HR process analyst in Silicon Valley. I want to develop my career as a human resource professional. Greatly appreciate if someone can help me answers the following questions: Read about careers in I/O : apa.org i am planning in majoring in Human Resources because i would like to work in the business field and human resources pays well however i know that working in the business field is a like climbing a ladder the farther you climb the more successfull you will become so will a human resources degree help me climb that ladder? I would like any advice on how to get an “in” on an entry level Human Resources job. Is it possible with my degree? Where should I start? I am majoring in International Relations and minoring in Italian at the University of Rochester, and I want to pursue a career in Human resources area. Is IR and HR Management a good mix? I know that Political science is something that is encouraged to have for HR work, but do i need to add smth to major… I’m trying to look up information on beginning a career in human resources – most importantly being education required. Some websites say a certificate is fine, some say associates, some say bachelors. Does anyone out there know for sure what is preferred in the field? Also, if I were to start out at a community college – what should my focus be on? What classes should I take? Please if you actually know what you’re talking about I would appreciate any and all advice. Thanks!! |
