Ever had a newbie do your taxes at a place like HR Block or Jackson Hewitt?
Yeah, two hours was a bit long to sit in that uncomfortable chair last year, so I’m going solo this year.
Ever since I had the Uni-Sex bathroom put in, State mandated by the way, there has been a spate of claims to my company. Suzi, yes with an i, our receptionist, claims that she is but not to sure who did it to her, Ruth, the Office Manager says that the Sales Manager swept her away in the 3rd stall to the right, and Bertha, my Shipping Manager (who I always thought was named Bert. It never even occured to me she was female) says that her romance started in the bathroom only to be consumated on the fork-lift with my HR Director Kim (who I always thought was a female I suppose in hindsight, I was wrong to send him panty hose for his birthday).
So now they are all sueing me for child support.
Is this right?
My company has had threats of suits regarding sexual harassment, un-safe conditions, and a number regarding the uni-sex bathrooms I was forced to install by the state.
Now a number of my employees are complaining that their work environment is being made hostile by the apperance of some of the other employees. Notably my HR Director. I will admit that she is a most unsightly woman.
Do you think if I hire some very attractive employees to off-set the ugly ones, beauty credits if you will, I can avoid another law suit?
I feel discriminated against at work because all of the urinals are made for big guys and so I’m stuck using the stall. Now this wouldn’t be such an issue except for the fact that each “big person” urinal has the current edition of the Wall Street Journal mounted within reading view for anyone from 6′ to 6’6″ (the height of our managing director). The stall does not have a copy of the Wall Street Journal mounted on the wall and even if the lowered the Journal the urinal is still too high.
I have spoken with the Human Resources lady about this on many occasions and she says that she will bring it to the attention of our managing director but its been three months and still no little persons urinal has been installed for me.
I am 5’5″ and this really makes me upset. I always talk to the receptionist about this because I think that maybe she will mention something to our managing director since she is his daughter. She just jokes and says that she could just see me having to stand on a foot stool.
I’ve always wanted to ask her out on a date but I guess that this conversation kind of ends that dream. Her laughing made me fell bad about it.
