Yes, I have seen people doing that. Regarding the pay, I’m not sure about that. It could be lower than your existing one. I have a business degree and HR experience in a truck company. I want to try something different, that is not sales…any sugestions?? I had a 3.97 gpa and eight certificates earned through my degree program. I have indirect skills related to HR but not practical experience. Almost all the jobs in Human Resources require experience so how do you get a job in HR with no experience in that field when your degree is in sociology? Is it possible? Would you need to take HR classes? I have worked in a bank for four and a half years so would a bank accept you for an HR job? I really like Yahoo.com as my home page. I use a lot of their services. THEY ARE ALL FREE!! I would first use http://hotjobs.yahoo.com/ from Yahoo’s home page. There should be a number of companies looking for someone with your degree there. The experience lacking may make you “CHEAPER” to hire and therefore you might exactly what they want! Make sure that you polish up a resume first and get to it looking for the city, state, and type of business that you want to work in. GOOD HUNTING and HaPpY HoLiDaYs!! I have 5 yrs domain experience in Human Resources and now i would like to get into software stream. So i was thinking of doing some related computer courses eg;SAP-HR/SIEBEL/ORACLE APPS.Could anyone guide me to take a course which is suitable to me.Moreover iam planning to leave to US since my wife is working there.I may be allowed to go to US .Even tough i dont go i want to have a good career by doing a computer course.Thank you I currently have a BS in Leadership Development with a Business Emphasis, a MEd. in Multicultural Education and Leadership Development. I would like to obtain an graduate certificate in HR but I do not know if it will be beneficial. Will obtaining this be a waste of time or will it be worthwhile to receive? |
