What Should I Answer In Hr Interview For Leaving A Previous Job. I Resigned Due To Restructuring & Not Fired?

My previous employer was a small software company in Bangalore. and closed his IT business, when many experienced people left the company for higher salaries. I also left the company five years ago.
Though I am doing good in my present company for last five years, I am seeking a change.
Please suggest me how to answer it positively.

My Boss Is Trying To Get Me Fired!!! Help!!!?

I currently work in a department where there are only 2 people: me and my boss. We are so understaffed that the company is supposed to add 5 new positions. Regardless of this fact, my boss gives me work as if i am at least 4 of those missing positions and she does nothing (I also get some of her personal stuff to do as well). I have asked for help and she says i do not know how to time manage or prioritize even though her deadlines are insane. I recently asked for an extension on a financial analysis that she gave me one day to complete and she told me no. Now she is starting a papertrail to make me look incompetent. She has do this to 4 past employees in her department and she succeeded in getting them fired as well. I don’t know if i should go to HR because the VP of HR is one of her friends! What do i do???

Last night at my dinner party I offered my bosses boss, the VP of HR if she would like a complimentary mustache ride. I had a few drinks, so I am going to say it was the alcohol tomorrow and try to get the Employee Assistance Program to protect me from being terminated due to alcoholism. What do you think I should do?

Should I Get Legal Council / File A Claim With The Eeoc Because I Was Fired From My Job?

I was fired from my job while in the middle of a human resourses investigation dealing with a harrasment/retailiation claim I made. My boss listed tradies to work the cause of my termination, but never consulted with me in regards to the claim I took up with HR. I think the termination is due to the claim more so than the tardies, but I did have tardies. The VP of Operations (male) did the firing by himself without any one else present in the office and our HR personnel were out of town.He also did not give me an exit interview only 5 min of why they decided to fire me (multiple tardies) and then walked me out of the building. He did not tell me about my insurance, PTO time, or my 401k. It was so quick he didn’t even make sure to collect my company credit card or laptop. I don’t understand the reasons behind why it had to happen so quickly or why HR was not involved. How should one proceed?

Here is the thing. After 11 years working my way up to middle management. The new HR director, who pretends to be a kindly old grandmother type, tells me that I’m immature (I’m 37, married, 11 year old son), totally uncoachable (I’ve never had a negative review, 0 write ups, my boss thinks I do a great job), and she wonders just what it is that I’m good at. I’m fit to be tied. I’m not a violent guy, but I swear, if some guy had said these things to me, I’d have punched him in the mouth, which would have solved my “quit or get fired dilemma”. It wouldn’t matter to me, but now I’m looking for a new job, and the ***** HR director is the gatekeeper of employee information and could very easily ruin opportunities for a new job. Welcome to middle management. When I sat down with my boss and the HR witch, she put on her Grandmother routine and claims she didn’t say anything, and now my boss thinks I’m out of line. Hopefully they’ll just can my ***, so I can move on……..thoughts???

Don’t I Have A Right To Know Why I Was Fired?

I was recently fired. My immediate supervisor said she didn’t know but to contact Human Resources. I did, and she didn’t know why, then I contacted the Clinical Director and she hasn’t returned any of my calls.
Don’t I have a right to know why I was let go? Something isn’t right and even the Unemployment Agency who investigates claims for benefits said they weren’t clear on why I was let go.
It sounds like I need to contact a lawyer, or get a letter at least explaining to me why I was fired right?

Enough Grounds To File For Unemployment Insurance, Fired Unfairly?

About a week ago, I called in sick at work, I have a chronic condition and I needed to see the doctor right away. The manager, who is very unprofesional, called my father, telling him that it was my boss, yelling and demanding a phone number. My father told her that if he needed to get ahold of me he would rely the message. First, because of her attitude, she didnt provide her name, as far as my dad knows, she could be somebody who is trying to kill me. So, he didnt give her anything! Next thing, I know ohe same day, I received a few calls from four of my co-workers telling me that our manager had sent them an email stating that I had been fired. I never signed anything, I had never been written up. Except for this problem I had with two bullies at work who were harrassing me. The manager told me that if I complained again that she would write me up. I wrote 4 letters, the last one was directed to the director of the company and the director of human resources. The next day after the email was sent that my coworkers were calling me about, I called HR and I asked them what was going on. The HR representative told me that I had been fired on the grounds of using prophanity, it was a saturday, nobody was there except for other coworkers, and I dont even remember calling anybody any names, etc. HR told me they had conducted an investigation and it turned out I had done that. I was never warned of anything, and they didnt even bother to hear my part of the issue, never asked me anything. Whereas the first time when I complained that somebody was harrassing me, the airhead I have as a manager put me and the other guy in a room and confronted us. She is really retarded and she has no idea about the job or what is going on. People laugh at her cause her IQ is about -10 the normal level, probably because of all the cylicon she’s gotten injected in her boobs, and all the botox she’s gotten in her tiny brain.
Anyway, now, also, they took out vacation, they are saying that I didnt accrue, plus, they are not paying me for one entire week of work I performed. I went to a lawyer for that one.
I wonder, if I have enough grounds to win an unemployment case, since I was never written up, I was always the hardest worker, never got in trouble. What I believe is going on in that company is that, because of the economy, they are doing really bad financially, they have started to hire temps so they wont have to pay them any benefits, and so that they can pay half of what they pay people like me. And no vacations, no sick time. So they got rid off me. I have been keeping in touch with other coworkers, and they have told me that other people have been getting fired as well, what should I do? anybody thinks I should file for unemployment?
By the way, this idiot manager, we all think she is the manager cause we can tell she is screwing the director of the department (not the director of the company)…when she was doing my review over the phone, she told me that she didnt like the fact that I spoke very fastly sometimes, and she said “it must be because of your Spanish,” which sounded kinda descriminatory as well.
