Just Passed The Phr (professional In Human Resources) Exam…?

Been at my job for a year and they paid for it. I need more money though. However, I get 22 vacation days, 3 personal, 15 sick, and we’re closed for two weeks at the end of the year and it’s paid.
I want to take my career to a higher level but I am not sure that I should stay at my current job. They just got rid of the VP of HR and we’re being restructured. Should I stay on for a while or start looking?

How Should I Inquire About The Job Offer? Or Should I Just Wait?

I went for the on-site interview in late Februray after many contacts through phones and emails for months. It went pretty well and they asked me to fill out the employment application form, which has the information on the desired pay scale, starting date, and references. In the middle of March the VP contacted me stating they really wanted me to join, but offered a salary much lower than I wanted. I told them that was too low and the VP said he would come up with another number the next day. Then the number turned out to be really close to my stated desired pay and I happily accepted. At the same time I asked to delay my starting date a little bit if possible. This seemed no problem to them and I was told to expect my package next week. Then the coming week HR people contacted me for some additional documents. I know they contacted 2 of my references (not sure on the 3rd). It has been 2+ weeks since the last call. Without an written offer, it’s risky to arrange things.

What Does It Mean If The Hr Manager Just Stops Talking To You After Final Interviews?

I have been interviewing over the phone with a company for about 4 weeks now. I have had phone conversations with the Acct. Director, Supervisor and the VP of Acct Services.I have a friend that works there and said that everyone liked me. Last week (weds) I had my final interview before I was supposed to go to the company. However since then the HR manager that I have been dealing with has just disappeared, she will not return my call or email. This is for a major company so I am trying to give it two weeks before I really start to think that it is a no go. Has anyone experienced this, or have an idea of what might be going on. I haven’t received a letter, email or phone call saying that I didn’t get the job but at the same time I haven’t heard anything either. Any help on this would be appreciated *** I really want this job and am really trying to stay positive about it.

Do I Have Any Chance In Hell At Getting My Job Back, Or Am I Just Crazy?

So, about a month ago I was offered a job at a daycare right across the street from where I live. It’s perfect for me because I can walk, and I’m in school getting a psychology degree. I want to be a teacher someday, and it’s good experience. Not to mention the pay is great…11 dollars to start, goes up to 13 after 6 months!! Anyway, it takes everyone a long time to get all their required paperwork ready because they are a governement daycare. I have lived in lots of different states, and it took a while. Anyway, the week that I was going to in process through the human resource office I had a death in the family. I tried contacted the HR office, and got an answering machine. I had to go out of town, and told them that in the two messages that I left. So, a few days went by and they didn’t call me back. I called them again, and they said they never recieved any of my calls or messages! They told me that I could still in process if the director of the daycare said it was okay, and when I called her she basically bitched me out, and told me they moved on. WELL, my neighbor also got a job there and said that they have not yet found anyone, and the director is just really stressed out and working long hours. I was thinking that maybe I can write a letter and apologize for the mis communication, and tell her that I am still available? I don’t know..is that a stupid idea? What do you think?
