No Return Phone Call=denied The Job?

I applied for a job recently with a hospital for a job I was plenty qualified for. They told me in the interview they were looking to make decisions fairly rapidly. The interview went very well in my opinion, as I seemed to please the interviewer in all my responses, had good eye contact, and was not nervous at all. After several days of no call, I called the HR director and left a message on her voicemail. This was several weeks back now. When an employer does not return a phone call, is it safe to assume they do not want to hire you? I think not returning a call is a bit……rude… to say the least….

Phone Interview – Thank You Email – How To Follow Up ?

Hi, I am a Latin America lawyer and two weeks ago I had a phone job interview with the HR Director for a position as a legal assistant for the company’s clients in Latin America. We talked about my professional experience, salary, benefits and relocation expectations. Well, my professional experience was praised by the interviewer, my salary expectation was market rate, the benefits were fixed the same for every employer, but because I am at the moment based in South America I was asked about my relocation expectations and I proposed the documentation necessary to take the work permit visa and some help to search an apartment. Next day I sent a thank you email but still had no answer. The position is still avaiable at the company’s site. The question is how should I follow up this job because no deadline was fixed at the interview.

What Should I Write In A Thank You For A Phone Interview Letter To Hr? See Details?

I got interviewed over the phone by HR for a big company on Dec. 12. I want to write a thank you letter as well as ask if they have spoken with the director about my resume and see if I will be getting an onsite interview. I want to write this so that they dont feel I’m asking them whether im selected or not…so I want it to be a subtle question within the thank you letter. Please give me your suggestions or letters you may have written. Thank you.

For Status Of Last Week’s Phone Interview, What Would Be The Best Time To Call Ernst & Young Admin. Director?

It was a seeming successful and pleasant interivew to the point that the HR Director made a positive comment by saying that I did my homework and even provided me with her direct line at Ernst and Young. We even discussed compensation and the possibility of helping me in the recruitment process. One week passed still no phone call. Thanks for all of your advice.

Follow-up Phone Call For A Job Application?

I dropped off an application at a local correctional facility for students after hearing from my friend (who is part of the staff I seek to join) told me that they are short handed. This was on Friday, and I haven’t heard anything from them. I also called their Human Resource Director to make a clarification on my job application, leaving my phone numbers. Then, last night, my friend put in a good word with the main director of the team that I’ll be working for.
My question is, should I make a follow-up call today?
