Please help! I have a loss of nearly 3,000 USD from forex trading, I am using tax-cut from HR and there seems to be no place to report the loss except as a carry over loss, but since this happened in 2006 I can’t do that either. I went under stocks etc. , that does not seem to be the right place either!
I found an error in the Michigan form MI-1040CR and I can not figure out how to contact HR TaxCut people to get it fixed as I am sure I will not be the only one with this issue. Does anyone know how to contact them and report problems? They do not make it easy nor obvious. Seems like they would like to know about issues with their software.
I was recently at an interview where the HR director was making comments like “She knows she is hiring illegals, but there is nothing she can do.” and “The African Americans only last a day, but the illegal Mexicans will last as long as I will give them a job.”
As a caucasian, none of them were directed at me, but as a human I found it extremely innappropriate and made me extremely uncomfortable. I was then interviewed by the Sales Manager. Subsiquently I did not get the job.
My question being, since I was not discriminated against, should I say something to someone? And follow up question. . is it common practice for HR to conduct interviews like that to see your response? I would think not, but I never delt with a professional HR department.
My boss is a Director of Human Resources. He has done some non-ethical/unfair things to employees and continues to procrastinate important things. He expects me to cover him and act like I dont know anything when people ask questions. What should I do?
Everyone has a supervisor. Take it to his or her supervisor and explain the situation. If you do not like the response you get from them then keep taking it higher and higher. Good luck. That situation must suck !
