I have concerns that are pretty substantial. I know a group of employees are on a loa and looking at a class action law suit for misc concerns, I recently has been told by my manager that “you are no better than the person you replaced, mind you I am still 90 days new. I also know multiple meetings with my manager, and admin and HR have happen due to the multtitude of complaints.
What makes me different is I am willing to leave a sick environement. I believe the staff who are complaining are somewhat valid due to my own concernns. The other’s are all taking a leave of absence and trying to “rally the troups”for a class action lawsuit. I myself would rather just resign, and met with HR, provide documentaiton of event sn move on is that ok?

Can A Non Human Resources graduate get a job and Work in HR ?
I Completed my studies with a degree in Information Technology and Management and I worked in a bank for 1 year ( contract). My contract expired before I could look for another job.
Now I am teaching part time while waiting for a job offer and I am contemplating a career switch.
Can I get a job in HR? What does a person in Human Resources do, besides Hiring and firing ? Is it very stressful working in HR? Whats the pay like ?What do they look for in a person for a HR job?
Do I have to have special qualifications like a diploma or Certificate or is it an on the job training like sales in the bank?
And Also, how do you answer interview questions, when you apply for a job in HR, and they throw you an interview for the job in the IT department?
It seems to me that almost every company pigeonholes me in IT, when the fact is, I haven’t work in IT since graduation and I do not want to pursue IT anymore

Up until now I had a good employee record. Human resources says I can’t transfer until a year has passed to drop a writeoff from my record. I went to school and got my certificate for this other position now it was all for nothing. Human resources says they have to be fair on all there policy’s (which is understandable) I just feel they should use a little more discretion on the severity of a writeup before holding someone back for advancing their career. Any advice on what I can legally do to fight this. The write ups were my first offense ever.
