Is The Stress Of Nursing School Worth The Nursing Career?

In an accelerated BSN program and its 100x more stressful and fast paced than I ever expected. I’m getting good grades but I feel anxious and stressed 24/7. I don’t sleep well now either so I’m tired all the time. Each day I go to school or clinicals come home and study. Thats my life. I’m thinking of quitting nursing school and taking some human resources classes instead since my other undergrad degree is pretty much useless. I went into this to help others, help my family, have a rewarding career, etc. Now I don’t know if its worth it or not. And I had been planning on working in a dr’s office or outpatient after grad but its seems like those jobs need a few years of med/surg inpatient experience. Let me know what you think.

Faster the better.

Do You Think Hr Management System Can Be Applied At School?

Do you mean as a software application or as a methodology?
As a methodology, no. Even HR managers/reps/etc dont care about it once they begin working. All HR does nowadays is safeguard a company’s legal side.
As a software app there are especialized applications for the school system out there that work beautifully. Companies like Oracle (using Peoplesoft) and SAP will claim they can do it, but their software requires many modifications, which is the waay they sell their consulting divisions. Talk to other schools and investigate a few of the best of breed companies out there they have elegant solutions if you have the budget.

What Option For A Business Major, Ie. Management, Hr, Marketing Has The Most Opportunities Right Out Of School

In all honesty it really does not matter. The only fields that are pretty much guaranteed jobs are accounting and finance. Other than that a business degree is a business degree. The things you learn in business school are all intertwined. Employers that need a business associate will hire someone with any business degree, and sometimes those who have a degree in something other than business.

Can One Achieve A Management Position In Hr Soon After Graduate School?

If I get my Master’s in Human Resources, is it possible to do management soon after, or does it usually take years of experience before you can do this?
What would I do in the meantime if my goal is management? Maybe career or training development?
Thanks for any advice :)
