I’m aware that having a degree in business administration is good, but I am not that good in math. Also, all the math courses and other courses that I must take before I can transfer to a university does not fit into my time schedule or plans for the future. The two majors that I have chosen are majors that I have spent hours researching on and feel that they are the best fit for me and for my career. I just need some different thoughts concerning my decision.
I know that these two majors are a better fit for me and I actually will enjoy double majoring in public administration and sociology. I already have an A.A. degree and two certificate of achievements in general management and human resources management obtained through my local community college. I have zero job experience in human resources and would like to know if I will be able to land some type of an entry-level position in human resources once I am finished with college.
Do any of you think I am on the right path? Let me know what your thoughts and feelings are concerning my decision. I will award 10 points to the best answer of course and I will be checking back often to read all the replies. Thank you.
my girlfriend has a double major in sociology and criminal justice and has been doing related counseling for several years. IS there an HR position that is suitable, or any position in HR that she could get hired in?
She just wants a change of atmosphere and definately posses the skills that are listed in almost all HR positions. thoughts?

I’m going to be graduating with a B.S. in sociology in a few weeks. Is there any way I could get a human resources job with such a degree?
Almost all the jobs in Human Resources require experience so how do you get a job in HR with no experience in that field when your degree is in sociology? Is it possible? Would you need to take HR classes? I have worked in a bank for four and a half years so would a bank accept you for an HR job?
