I am an online student at University of Phoenix (still in my Associates program-until June, 2010), and I want to take the HR Management certification course that UC Irvine is offering. UC Irvine offers this course online and I want to do both at the same time. Any of you have any feedback you would like to give me? Do you think it’s possible if I take just one class at a time at UC Irvine, or would you think it’s too overwhelming? Anyone have experience with UC Irvine’s HRM program online? What is it like?
A little more background. I am a single mother of a three-year-old, and this is the reason why I am taking the distance learning route. Full-time job and the little one won’t allow traditional school
Thanks, everyone!
I majored in business and decided to concentrate in HR, but I don’t know if it’s what I want to do. I’m almost done, so I’m going to finish it out. Are there any other jobs I can get with an HR degree that are not specifically in HR?
I have a business degree and HR experience in a truck company. I want to try something different, that is not sales…any sugestions??
I failed my first test and I want to study, but it is boring and I want to pass. Know of any resources or anything I can use? Any tips on remembering things? Thanks
My final paper entails that I choose a profession to manage a specific employment position. I need a profession that would be easy to do as well as easy to find materials for this profession.
This is a good question that should have many wondering the same thing. They are suppose to ensure that “human rights” and Policies with-in a company are in agreement with current laws. They also sometimes do the hiring and again according to the law. They can serve as a mediator between managment and its employees, but remember they are managers themselves and are there to protect the companies interests.
