Hey I want to work in HRM but i want to know which degree would be more useful. Psychology Or Sociology? And Why? I work 5 days/week, in the contract its said u should work 45 hr/wk, which makes it 9 hours a day, and they dont pay overtime too!! Is that unfair or usual for SW developers. Yes, but you may need to get a masters in order to really get into the field. You could start off in a very junior position if there are job openings hard to fill in your geographic area. Sometimes HR consultants will hire BA psych majors if you have statistics and assessment coursework. Then later a company would hire you. I am thinking of taking a HR certificate program and I’m interested in the day-to-day activities that are involved. So how is it? Detailed answers would be much appreciated. Thanks! I am currently working as an Accounting Assistant and am interested in a career change. I would like to work in Human Resources but I wanted to know what the qualifications were for an entry level Human Resources position. Also, does anybody know of any training classes (certificate only) that I could take to gain the basic knowledge needed to work in Human Resources? There is no “human resources degree” at my school. What other degrees are good for getting into the human resources field? |
