What are the Pros & Cons of being a Human Resource Manager?
I am about to start school for Human Resource Management but I first need to find out the pros & cons of it and what in detail is involved with the job( I know usually hiring, firing, training and benefits) but what else?

It pays well, but is one of the most stressful jobs. You have to turn down applicants, fire people and often deal with labor unions. Think about a different field. This one has a very high burn-out rate. Good luck.
I am not in HR but I do know, as an employee, that I’ve had to go to HR when I feel that I was treated poorly. So one thing to add to your list is playing mediator between coworkers or between employees and management. I admire anyone who is in that position; it takes alot of patience and skill to look at things oobjectively.
