For my HR Management class, I have to write a 3-5 page essay discussing in what ways the movie In Pursuit of Happiness (with Will Smith) has to do with the study of human resources management. I’m planning on watching the movie today, but I’m just trying to get some ideas in my head that will help me with this dreadfully long essay!!!

Such a great movie and based on a true story, Although the movie is based somewhat on HR there is nothing like real world experience.
1.Grab a pen and look for key points in the movie (tip do not base your whole paper on the movie, Professors don’t like this)
2.Your job is to get idea’s (Brainstorming)
3.Here are some idea’s to get you started, in the real world this is what companies are looking for-Critical thinking skills is a big+ people who can think outside the box-Human Relationship skills a must have-and a lot more in no particular order-Behavior-Performance-Time and Task Management-Perception-A Good First Impression-Job Satisfaction-Values-Ethics-Leadership in Teams and on and on.
That will definitely get you started more than enough info.
