This is very useful since I run what-if scenarios on it and you can't really do that with web software. In the past 6 years on this computer, I've used Turbotax 3 years and Taxcut 3 years. There are virtually the same. TT uses slightly larger windows than TC (which means I couldn't see the right end of my naming conventions on stock sales and after I made a mistake had to guess which entry to click on). TC is more forgiving on installation and security issues. (I originally switched to TC because they had a form TT didn't in the cheap package. I was glad I was on TC in 2003 when they decided to "enforce" software licenses by making it virutally impossible to install.) I buy my software and run it on my PC.
