  • It won’t hurt to cover yourself by giving it to both of them. That way you’ll be assured that they will know when you are leaving in case one of them happens to lose their copy. And you aren’t stepping on any toes by doing this, in my opinion.
    I was a store manager for six years, and it wouldn’t have bothered me one bit if an employee had also told their immediate supervisor that they were leaving. It would have helped us both make plans for the day they left.

    You have to submit your resignation letter to your sales coach or your immediate superior. They inturn will forward your resignation letter to the HR to enable them to process your resignation. The HR is not having much role till your boss gives his comments on your resignation letter.
